COACH
My name is Molly Reyes! I started CrossFit back in 2014. I became a Level-1 trainer in 2018 and have been coaching here since that time! My passion for fitness started at a young age in middle school and high school when Cody Keller was my personal trainer! Once I graduated high school, I did some half marathon running then Cody introduced me to CrossFit, and I knew at that time that CrossFit was something I wanted to pursue. I enjoy doing local competitions and competing in the CrossFit Open each year. My true passion, however, is coaching! I love helping people and seeing athletes improve physically and mentally! My job outside of the gym is being an ICU charge nurse at nights at Integris Bass Baptist here in Enid. I became an LPN 5 years ago and earned my RN 4 years ago. I am so excited about the future of this gym! I cannot wait to meet you!
COACH
When I started doing CrossFit, it was just something different to try. I had been working out at Iron Works and had become a little bored with the day in and day out routine of amateur power lifting. I had put on some weight and was becoming disappointed with who I saw in the mirror. After Molly and I got married, she encouraged me to give it a try again, and it started to remind me of my days of coaching and being back in the wrestling room. Now, I CrossFit to be healthy and to compete. Growing up, health and fitness were never a priority in my family, so it was easy to pick up bad habits. As a kid, you can work it off, but as an adult, those bad habits can change your life. I’ve said it before, Enid CrossFit saved my life. Without this gym and the people I’ve met, I know for a fact I would be pushing 300 lbs with the way I was heading.
My first WOD was Murph 2017. I didn’t finish and didn’t come back until September 2017. I did a class once or twice a week, but I didn’t really dive into CrossFit until January 2018.
Most days, it really is just work/gym/home. On days when it’s not, I’m usually tinkering on cars or hanging out with my family.
OWNER
Brittney Thompson, former owner of CrossFit Refuel, has been doing CrossFit for 7.5 years, and recently received her Level 2 certification. Her favorite workout is MURPH because of the community, the cause, and the feeling at the end. She started a CrossFit gym because she wanted to build a community that was accepting of all people. “I believe everyone is an athlete, and you have to start somewhere. I believe that leadership comes from the top and leading by example. Having the best coaching staff will help us reach as many people as we can in the Enid community.”
